Committees
Architectural Review Committee
The Architectural Review Committee is the only committee required by the CC&R's of Miller's Gate. Per the CC&R's, the ARC "shall exercise all of the rights and powers reserved to the Association for design review and approvals...The Architectural Committee may adopt such reasonable rules, procedures, and forms the committee determines are advisable in its sole discretion." ARC members must be able to make decisions on approval of requests while using the MGHOA Bylaws and the CC&R's as their guideline for approval.
Social and Welcoming Committee
The Social and Welcoming Committee is a new committee intended to improve community life in our neighborhood. Members will help welcome new homeowners by preparing and delivering welcome baskets, consult with the board and assist in organizing neighborhood-wide events like food trucks, etc.
Beautification Committee
The Beautification Committee is a new committee that will serve as judges for neighborhood awards such as Yard of the Month, Best Christmas Decorations, Best Halloween Decorations, etc. Members could also be asked to keep an eye on common areas to proactively spot problems such as potential accident areas, damages, diseased/dying landscaping, etc.
Maintenance Committee
The Maintenance Committee assists the Board by keeping a track on maintenance needs in the common areas, including playground, gates, streets, etc. The Maintenance Committee helps to patch potholes and cracks in roads, spot treating of weeds and grass in common areas, and other maintenance or repair needs.
